Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Kinetik Wellbeing is committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2050 and will be developing a carbon reduction plan to guide our efforts. As part of this plan, we will establish a baseline emissions footprint to provide a reference point for measuring our progress.
To establish our baseline emissions footprint, we will conduct a comprehensive inventory of our greenhouse gas emissions, including direct emissions from our operations (Scope 1), indirect emissions from purchased energy (Scope 2), and emissions from our supply chain (Scope 3). We will use recognized methodologies such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and the Carbon Trust’s Footprinting Standards to ensure that our inventory is accurate and complete.
Once we have established our baseline emissions footprint, we will set targets for reducing our emissions over time. We will use a combination of measures, including energy efficiency improvements, renewable energy procurement, and changes to our supply chain to achieve these targets.
We will regularly monitor and report on our progress against our targets, using a set of key performance indicators (KPls) to measure our performance. These KPls will include metrics such as our carbon intensity (i.e. the amount of greenhouse gas emissions per unit of output), our energy use, and our use of renewable energy sources.
As we work to achieve our net zero goal, we will also engage with our stakeholders, including our staff, suppliers, customers, and the wider community, to raise awareness of our carbon reduction efforts and encourage others to take action to reduce their own emissions.
