Projects
As well as offering high quality and affordable devices direct to customers, we’re proud to work with the NHS. Here are a few highlights of collaborative projects we’ve worked on in partnership with the NHS and other local authorities.
Working with Doccla to Support Virtual Care Across Europe
As Doccla continues to lead the way in virtual care across Europe, Kinetik Wellbeing is proud to play a key role in supporting the delivery of virtual wards, remote monitoring and proactive care throughout the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
Through this partnership, patients enrolled in Doccla’s Virtual Care services receive medical devices, including Kinetik Wellbeing’s clinically validated monitors, enabling clinicians to remotely track and manage patient health data in real time. This approach allows healthcare teams to provide continuous, personalised care while reducing hospital admissions and easing pressure on NHS resources.
Kinetik Wellbeing’s involvement in supplying high-quality devices strengthens Doccla’s clinical-grade offering, demonstrating our commitment to safe, scalable and integrated virtual care in the public sector.
Isofitter Clinical Trial
Kinetik Wellbeing is proud to support the NIHR-funded Isofitter clinical trial, which is investigating how isometric wall squats may help reduce blood pressure more effectively than other forms of exercise. In line with our mission to empower health at home, we’ve supplied Kinetik Wellbeing Blood Pressure Monitors to researchers from Canterbury Christ Church University, the Centre for Health Services Studies and East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.
The study involves 542 participants, each equipped with a Kinetik Wellbeing Blood Pressure Monitor and provided with healthy lifestyle guidance.
This research will help determine how simple, self-delivered exercises can make a measurable difference to heart health and support better blood pressure management at home.
Extending Hypertension Services into Dentistry
Partnering with the NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, Kinetik Wellbeing is helping to expand blood pressure checks into more than 50 dental practices across the region. The initiative is designed to make blood pressure monitoring easier to access, particularly for men over 40, a group that can be harder to reach through traditional health services.
As part of the programme, Kinetik Wellbeing has provided blood pressure monitors, marketing materials and training to the dental teams delivering the checks. Incorporating blood pressure monitoring into routine dental appointments allows patients to take an important step in protecting their heart health during visits they are already attending.
So far, over 700 people have received a blood pressure check through this scheme, enabling early detection and life-saving interventions for several individuals. Developed jointly with Humber and North Yorkshire ICB, South Essex ICB and local dental officers, this partnership demonstrates how cross-sector collaboration can improve early identification and prevention of hypertension within the community.
Hampshire’s Blood Pressure Monitor Home Loan Scheme
In collaboration with Hampshire County Council, Kinetik Wellbeing have supported the innovative Blood Pressure Monitor Home Loan Scheme, designed to make checking your blood pressure as simple as borrowing a book. Through this initiative, Hampshire residents can borrow a Kinetik Wellbeing Blood Pressure Monitor from their local library for up to 14 days, giving them the opportunity to take multiple readings in line with clinical recommendations.
By providing free and convenient access to home monitoring, the scheme aims to empower individuals to take control of their heart health, support the early detection of high blood pressure and ultimately reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes. This collaboration reflects Kinetik Wellbeing’s ongoing mission to make healthcare more accessible and to help people monitor and manage their health at home.
Working with Oviva to Support the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme
Kinetik Wellbeing is partnering with Oviva, an NHS-supported programme helping people lose weight and reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes through a combination of medication, lifestyle changes and personalised support.
The Oviva programme allows patients to be referred by their GP for medical weight management and holistic care delivered via a virtual clinic. By supporting this initiative, Kinetik Wellbeing helps NHS teams reduce pressure on healthcare services while enabling more people to achieve healthy, lasting results.
As part of this collaboration, Kinetik Wellbeing supplies blood pressure monitors, blood glucose monitors and body composition scales to support Oviva’s patients throughout their health journey. These tools enable participants to track their progress at home, empowering them to make sustainable changes that improve their long-term health.
Collaborating with Blood Pressure UK and London Million Hearts & Minds at Black on the Square
Ahead of Know Your Numbers! Week, we partnered with Blood Pressure UK and London Million Hearts & Minds to provide free blood pressure checks at Black on the Square, a vibrant cultural event in central London. Our team carried out more than 230 checks on the day, including Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, and Professor Kevin Fenton, Regional Public Health Director. Promoting awareness, encouraging regular monitoring and empowering people to understand and manage their blood pressure are core to our mission, and essential steps toward improving public health outcomes.
